REAL CONVERSATIONS ABOUT THE POWER OF WORDS

"You never know when you might make a difference in someone’s life. It’s the basic kindness that changes another person’s path. That’s what this series is about for me. I want to pull up a chair and talk to people about the power of their words. I’m here to engage youth in real conversations about self-worth, mental health, and what 'connection' means in a modern world.

So, I walked into a Junior High with nothing more than an iPhone and a tripod. No producers or lighting specialists. Just students and a series of chats to help today’s youth through challenging times. At various points, the footage appears gritty, as is the world we live in... the juxtaposition of technology and real needs.

The Loodor Tales Series follows Grey the Kitten on her journey to discover who she is and how she can help others. I used the characters from the first two books in the series as a baseline from which to establish dialogue and pose the question, HOO Are You? For me, Grey represents the balance of becoming your best self while striving to achieve collective success. Words can build things or break them."
