A Nationally Approved Vendor for Speaking Programs
Loodor produces an ongoing tour to engage students, schools, and communities in real conversations. The “HOO Are You?” Tour creates energy. It is designed to fuel students’ confidence and remind them they are not alone.
That’s the purpose of the “HOO Are You?” Tour. We aim to instill self-worth and create an environment that fosters encouragement, positivity, and growth. We help today’s youth navigate a path to achieve their goals, by addressing real challenges head-on.
The challenges that students face today include social media, cyberbullying, and digital security. These challenges have resulted in depression, deep-seated anxiety, communication setbacks, and suicide.
Students know how to use their phone. They need to be reminded that a world exists outside of it—the “real world,” where they will attend college and apply for jobs. Both of these objectives require work ethic, focus, emotional stability, and overall mental well-being.
The “HOO Are You?” program reaches students through general assembly presentations and our curriculum, all inspired by the Loodor Tales Series. Bestselling author Summer Nilsson uses the books to inspire lessons regarding self-worth, existence, empathy, and kindness.
Using character symbolism, Summer addresses false narrative, mind chatter, and imposter syndrome. We strive to offset the effects of cyberbullying and reduce suicide rates among today’s youth.
Loodor understands that communities need ongoing support. We are proud to collaborate with Sid Miller, Texas Agriculture Commissioner, and the Texas Department of Agriculture to provide access to the AgriStress HELPLINE, offering 24/7 support to students and families.
